Undersecretary of Interior Discusses Security Cooperation with Maltese Ambassador

Tripoli: The Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry for Public Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Mahmoud Saeed, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to Libya, Frankin Aquilina. The meeting took place on Sunday and focused on enhancing collaboration between the two nations.

According to Libyan News Agency, discussions centered on joint security cooperation between the Libyan and Maltese Ministries of Interior. Key areas of focus included training and capacity building for the Libyan Interior Ministry personnel. The aim is to strengthen the capabilities of Libyan security forces through strategic partnerships and knowledge exchange.

The meeting was also attended by the Security Attach© at the Maltese Embassy in Libya, Alexander Dalli, and the Director of the Undersecretary’s Office, Tariq Kaiba. Their presence underscored the commitment of both countries to foster stronger bilateral relations in matters of security and public safety.
