According to Libyan News Agency, the Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the Public Prosecution had filed charges against the financial controller at the Libyan mission to Kazakhstan for misappropriating public funds in violation of applicable regulations. The Tripoli Criminal Court, in its final session, convicted the defendant and sentenced him to four years and six months in prison, with the deprivation of his civil rights for the duration of his sentence and for one year thereafter.
