Baghdad: The Union of Iraqi Jurists engaged in discussions with the Presidency of the Republic concerning prospects for joint cooperation aimed at advancing legal work and establishing the principles of the rule of law.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a meeting held at the Union’s headquarters in Baghdad, the President of the Union of Iraqi Jurists, Qassim Taama Judeh, hosted Wissam Al-Jizani, a representative from the Presidency of the Republic. The discussions underscored the importance of ongoing communication and coordination to achieve integration between state institutions and the Union. This collaboration is expected to enhance the reform process and strengthen the role of jurist professionals as a critical component in Iraq’s development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of the Union expressed gratitude and appreciation to the representative of the Presidency for the visit, emphasizing that it provides significant moral support to the Union and the broader legal community in Iraq.
