The Permanent Mission of Libya in New York announces the support of the Government of National Unity for all UN mine-clearance programs in the country.

New York, The Permanent Mission of Libya to the United Nations in New York expressed Libya’s support for all UN mine-clearance programs in the country and the readiness of the Government of National Unity for constructive partnership in local, regional and international issues.

This came during the Libyan mission’s participation in the work of the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly at its seventy-sixth session.

Where Counselor “Marwan Abu Sriweil” gave Libya’s speech in the committee, during which the focus was on four main axes, namely the Palestinian cause and the support of the State of Libya to the cause at all levels, as well as the measures taken to combat mines and unexploded ordnance in Libya and the item of special diplomatic missions and the role they play in Reducing conflicts in all its forms.

The committee also discussed the role of the international media in transmitting correct information in all languages across all digital and physical spaces.
