Tripoli, Chairman of the Board of the National Oil Corporation, “Mustafa Sun’Allah met at the NOC headquarters in Tripoli, the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Libya, UNDP Marc Andre.
The meeting focused on ways of strengthening joint cooperation to support the oil sector, and sustainable development projects that the National Oil Corporation has implemented and in the areas adjacent to its operations.
Future plans were also discussed through cooperation between the two sides to carry out strategic projects related to social responsibility programs and spatial development in the areas of operations, through coordination with the NOC Sustainable Development Department.
The meeting discussed The Corporation’s future plans to introduce renewable and clean energies technologies into its operations, and to benefit from the experiences of the United Nations mission and its experiences in other countries to apply them in Libya.
On his part, Andre praised the pioneering role of the NOC to ensure continued production operations against all odds.
