The National Oil Company and the French company “Total Energies” are discussing lifting the case of force majeure and resuming the company’s exploration activity in Libya

Tripoli- The meeting held by the Exploration Department of the National Oil Corporation this morning was devoted to discussing lifting the state of force majeure and resuming the company’s exploration activity in Libya. .

During the meeting, they discussed the company’s completed projects with regard to exploration and reconnaissance programs for the year 2022 and the proposed programs for the year 2023 with regard to seismic survey programs, exploratory drilling, and geological and geophysical studies.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Exploration Department, “Abdel Moneim Batikh,” and a number of specialists and technicians in the Exploration Department, and on behalf of the French company “Total Energies”.
