Tripoli, The Minister of Interior, Brigadier General Khaled Mazen, received today, Tuesday, at the Ministry's office in Tripoli, the Maltese Minister of Interior and National Security, Byron Camilleri.
During the meeting, the Maltese minister offered his condolences to the Minister of Interior for the victims of the terrorist act that took place in the city of Sabha during the past two days, which left two martyrs and five wounded policemen.
He stressed the need to activate previous agreements in the field of combating drugs, money laundering, illegal immigration, smuggling and organized crime, as well as supporting and training the Libyan coastal security and raising their efficiency in this field.
For his part, "Khaled Mazen" that the illegal immigration file is a common and large file, and we all have to bear its burdens, considering that the phenomenon of immigration is not only a Libyan problem, which requires intensifying all efforts to reduce and eliminate it.
