Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, Oil Minister, Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, discussed with the South Korean Ambassador to Baghdad, Lee Joon-Il, ways to enhance joint cooperation between Iraq and South Korea in the fields of oil, gas, and energy. A meeting was held to explore opportunities for collaboration and to strengthen ties between the two nations in these critical sectors.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Ministry of Oil highlighted that the discussions focused on reviewing the prospects for developing bilateral relations, particularly in the energy sector.
