The House of Representatives votes unanimously on the draft roadmap.

Tobruk, The House of Representatives, during its official session held today, Monday – headed by the Speaker of the House, “Aqila Saleh” and in the presence of the first and second deputies, and in the presence of 116 deputies – voted unanimously on the draft decision of the Roadmap Committee formed by Parliament.

According to what was published by the official spokesman of the Council, “Abdullah Blihaq” on his official page, the first article of the draft resolution stipulated the adoption of the road map submitted by the committee formed by Parliament, so that the electoral process takes place within a period not exceeding 14 months from the date of the constitutional amendment.

The second article of the draft resolution recommended the Road Map Committee to consult with the State Council Committee to present the final version on the constitutional amendment, including a precise definition of the articles required to achieve electoral entitlement within a framework not exceeding the time specified in Article 1 of the draft resolution, provided that this is done within a maximum period of one week. In conjunction with granting confidence to the government.

The third article also confirmed that after listening to the draft of the candidates for prime minister, the Presidency of Parliament will refer the names of the candidates to the State Council, to submit the required recommendations regarding them, provided that the vote to choose one of the candidates will be in the session next Thursday, corresponding to the tenth of February.

Article 4 of the draft resolution called on the Road Map Committee to submit its final report on the remaining tracks within a month from its date.

“Blehaq” indicated that during today’s session, the programs of the two “candidates” were heard from the candidates who fulfilled the papers, documents and controls required for candidacy, and the session was suspended until tomorrow, Tuesday.
