The head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, received an invitation to participate in the conference of the Global Practical Network of Law Enforcement Authorities on Anti-Corruption, which is scheduled to be held in Beijing next September.
During his meeting with the Chinese Ambassador, Cui Wei at the Commission’s headquarters, Judge Haider Hanoun discussed areas of cooperation between the commission and the Chinese National Oversight Commission, especially in the field of legal assistance and the exchange of expertise and information between the two parties, and the possibility of benefiting from the technological and informational development witnessed by the People’s Republic of China. Pointing out: ‘This development contributes greatly to the fight against corruption,’ indicating the importance of the memorandum of understanding that is planned to be concluded between the two parties.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador expressed his happiness for cooperation with the Iraqi Integ
rity Commission, praising its efforts and its important impact on international cooperation in the field of combating corruption, noting that it has made useful contributions to enhancing the development of the network, praising the high organization witnessed by the organization of the Arab Network for Promoting Integrity and Anti-Corruption Forum, which was held in Baghdad at the beginning of this June, while Judge Haider Hanoun received an invitation to participate in the conference of the Global Practical Network of Law Enforcement Authorities concerned with combating corruption, which is scheduled to be held in Beijing next September.
