Tripoli, The Ambassador of France to Libya, Mustafa Maharaj, participated in the International Day of the French Language, “Francophone”, which was held today, Monday, at the Faculty of Languages at the University of Tripoli.

In a post on Twitter, Maharaj thanked the 25 professors of French at the Faculty of Languages who organized this event, and the 264 students at the University of Tripoli who are learning French, which opens the doors to linguistic pluralism for them.

UNESCO devoted March 20 of each year to celebrating the French language, as part of the United Nations’ efforts to raise the level of historical and cultural awareness and the achievements of all languages, and on the same day coincides with the celebration of the International Day of Francophonie.
