Tripoli: Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, received the head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT), Ibrahim Kalin, and his delegation at the HCS's headquarters in Tripoli. According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions emphasized supporting security and stability through mutual interest. Kalin affirmed Turkey's support for stability in Libya, noting that successful political processes require inclusive national consensus. He highlighted the importance of safeguarding Libya's unity and sovereignty.
Takala acknowledged Turkey's role in supporting Libya's stability. He stressed that a sustainable political settlement must be based on Libyan consensus, rooted in legal and constitutional frameworks. This would protect national sovereignty and promote the unity of state institutions, paving the way for elections and the desired stability.
