Tripoli: The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, affirmed that Libyan projects in Ghana are a cornerstone in building stronger economic relations that meet the aspirations and ambitions of both the Libyan and Ghanaian peoples. This statement was made during his meeting at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli with the Ambassador of Ghana to Libya, Mark Ntsi.
According to Libyan News Agency, Takala mentioned that the meeting is part of efforts to strengthen the historical ties between Libya and Ghana. He noted that the large Ghanaian community in Libya is a testament to the deep relations shared by the two nations. The meeting highlighted the mutual interest in fortifying these ties further through economic collaboration.
The Ghanaian Ambassador, Mark Ntsi, emphasized the longstanding fraternal relations between Ghana and Libya, which have been in place for decades. He highlighted the strong political and economic connections that exist between the two countries. Ambassador Ntsi remarked on the strategic importance of Libya to Ghana, describing it as Africa’s gateway to Europe and the world.
