Supreme Judicial Council elects new council headed by Muftah Al Gawi with Al Sidiq Al Sour Vice President

Tripoli,-The Supreme Judicial Council has announced the election of a new three-year council consisting of a president and a deputy and (13) members of Libya’s appeals courts.

According to the electoral process announced by the Council on the occasion of the end of the term of the former council (2019-2022), the new members of the council were elected to be headed Muftah Mohammed Al Gawi, Head of the Inspection Department of Judicial Bodies, and Attorney General Siddiq Ahmed Al-Sour as the vice-president of the council.

The Council included members from the courts of appeal in various Libyan cities (case management, law department, andi Appeals Courts of Tripoli, Tobruk, Al Khoms, Al-Bayda, Al Zawiya, Sabha, south of Tripoli, Misrata, Benghazi and Gharyan).
