Shahat -The Shahat's Municipal Council met with the German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Ohnmacht, and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in area of protecting antiquities.
The Ambassador ,in a tweet published yesterday, expressed his admiration for the city of Shahat, describing it as a beautiful city with its green mountains overlooking the sea.
"Libya has 5 sites on the World Heritage List, including Cyrene," he added.
