Qaderbouh and Al-Baour Discuss Oversight of Libyan Foreign Affairs Ministry

Tripoli: The Head of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, met with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, in Tripoli to discuss key administrative and financial files related to the performance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic missions.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on monitoring the performance of Libyan diplomatic missions abroad, ensuring their adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and procedures. The discussions also covered the Ministry's internal administrative operations, identifying and addressing any existing shortcomings in procedures and processes.

The review of the organizational structure and diplomatic staff was another critical point of the meeting. It emphasized the importance of employing qualified personnel to meet the actual needs of their respective countries. Additionally, the financial obligations of the missions were scrutinized to ensure the use of public resources aligns with legal frameworks. The meeting also highlighted Libya's participation in international organizations, underscoring the need to meet international standards and protect national interests.
