Tobruk-President of the Presidential Council Mohamed Al Mnefi attended the first international conference of the French language, held by the Faculty of Arts, University of Tobruk, at the Dar Al Salaam Hotel with the participation of a number of Libyan and foreign professors specializing in French, and in the presence of deans of faculties and students at the university.
In his speech at the conference, the President of the Council stressed importance of holding scientific conferences, saying they are key to increasing knowledge accumulation, and transfer of experiences among colleagues in their field of specialization, through research and work papers that are presented, and the subsequent opening of serious and effective discussion.
The conference, which will be held from February 21-23, aims to review educational experiences in the application of modern methods of Teaching French in Libya, and the research and working papers that French teachers will present throughout the days of its convening, and to put them under discussion, in order to come up with recommendations that directly contribute to the proper teaching and learning of French.
