Tripoli, President of Presidency Council, Mohammed Al Mnefi met Monday morning in Tripoli chairman and members of the Council of Elders and Dignitaries of the city of Kufra, to discuss the situation in the oasis and ways to provide the necessary support, and alleviate the suffering of citizens in all areas.
The meeting discussed the need of attention to be paid to the city’s infrastructure, to provide all basic services, and achieving the principle of social justice in caring for all cities and regions. The presidency Council called for need for attention to be paid to the oasis of Kufra, as one of the most important border areas of the Libya, stressing that he will follow up with the competent executive authorities, how fast they harness all the capabilities available to them, to solve all the problems and obstacles discussed during the meeting.
The elders and dignitaries of Kufra praised the efforts of the Presidency Council in unifying state institutions and launching the national reconciliation project, demanding their participation in this national project of reuniting Libyans and ending the transition period towards stability and peace.
