Tripoli, The Chairman of the Council of the High National Election Commission Emad Al-Sayeh, received at the Office of the Commission Council on Tuesday Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Buccino.
Developments of the political scene and ways of getting support from the international community for the upcoming elections to be held in a peaceful, acceptable and credible atmosphere were discussed at the meeting.
The Italian Ambassador reiterated his government’s support for the upcoming elections, praising the commission’s efforts at this stage and its relentless efforts to implement the will and aspirations of the Libyan people for peace and stability.
