PM Asserts Importance of Assessing State’s Contribution to Sponsoring its Guests

Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted, on Monday 08-Jan-2024, the importance of documenting the number of refugees in the country and assessing their contribution in this regard to offer the services they need in the various sectors.

The premier’s remarks came at a meeting, on Monday 08-Jan-2024, to review the contribution of the Egyptian state to sponsoring its guests of different nationalities, in the presence of several ministers and senior state officials.

Egypt is receiving more than nine million refugees, according to some international estimates.

During the meeting, Minister of Education and Technical Education Reda Hegazy highlighted a report about numbers of refugee students, who are obtaining the best educational services.

Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar talked about health services that are offered by the state to the refugees in the health sector.

Meanwhile, the ministers discussed the never-ceasing efforts offered by the state to help and support the Pale
stinians in the Gaza Strip in the shadow of the non-stop attacks on them.
