London: Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Sulaiman, engaged in discussions on energy production cooperation with leaders from various international oil and energy companies, prominently featuring American giant ExxonMobil. The meetings were held amidst the third phase of a public bidding round organized by the corporation in the British capital.
According to Libyan News Agency, the NOC’s media office confirmed that the event attracted major international companies from the energy and oil sectors. The discussions provided an opportunity for company representatives to gain insights into the operations of companies and oil fields in Libya, as well as the ongoing developments in the sector. The corporation also outlined its strategies aimed at boosting production.
The media office further reported that participants were informed about the specific requirements and business needs of Libya’s oil and gas market. The representatives expressed considerable interest in forming robust partnerships within the Libyan oil sector, signaling a positive outlook for future collaborations.
