Tripoli: During a technical meeting held at the National Oil Corporation’s (NOC) headquarters in Tripoli, representatives from the technical and financial departments of the NOC engaged in discussions with Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas Exploration, Production, and Refining Company. The agenda focused on Zallaf Libya’s activities planned for 2025, including future projects, production strategies, and the proposed budget for 2026.

According to Libyan News Agency, Zallaf Libya unveiled its developmental plan for the Atshan field, which aims to produce 140 million cubic feet of gas per day in the forthcoming years. This development is anticipated to bolster gas supplies, fulfill local market demands, and support the national economy.

Additionally, Zallaf Libya highlighted its accomplishments for the current year, notably the commencement of production in January from the Shadar field. This site is currently yielding 2,500 barrels of crude oil per day and about 9 million cubic feet of associated gas daily.

The meeting saw participation from directors of the NOC’s technical departments, Zallaf Company’s management committee members, technical and financial experts, as well as representatives from Libya Technology, Al-Jawf companies, and the Oil Research Center.
