Tripoli: The National Oil Corporation (NOC), in collaboration with the Austrian company OMV and Zueitina Oil Company, organized a workshop focused on modern techniques to boost production rates.
According to Libyan News Agency, the workshop featured a visual presentation by OMV that highlighted state-of-the-art technologies aimed at increasing production rates, enhancing the operational efficiency of submersible pumps, and providing effective solutions to extend their lifespan and performance. These advancements are intended to contribute to the overall enhancement of production capacity.
The primary goal of the workshop was to integrate these technologies into the operations of oil sector production companies. This initiative seeks to advance technical aspects and ensure the successful implementation of the corporation’s strategy to increase production rates.
The event saw participation from several key figures, including directors from the production, drilling, and well maintenance departments of the corporation. Additionally, the chairman of the management committee and the director of the planning department at Zueitina Oil Company, the executive director of OMV Libya, and a group of specialists from various departments at the corporation, as well as representatives from Zueitina Oil Company and OMV, were in attendance.
