8 weak tremors were recorded over the past 24 hours, the National Earthquake Center (NEC) announced.
The NEC added in a statement that the stations of the National Seismological Monitoring Network registered 8 quakes with a weak intensity from Wednesday evening till 06:30 a.m. on Thursday.
According to the center, 3 of the tremors were recorded in Turkey, 3 tremors with a magnitude ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 northwest of Lattakia and two in Liwa Iskenderun, one of them with a magnitude of 1.5 and the other 2.1.
