MP in the House of Representatives representing Babylon, Ali Turki, announced his withdrawal from the Sadiqoun bloc and from the Framework, and remaining as an independent MP.
Turki said in his tweet, “The reason for the withdrawal was the attack he was subjected to by some MPs of the State of Law who accused him because of his work in the Integrity Committee of belonging to the Baath Party, although his history attests to his integrity, in addition to his statement about Speicher, who held the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces at that time responsible.
He added that he will remain an independent MP, practicing his work freely within the House of Representatives and working to preserve the people’s money.”
