Benghazi: The Ministry of Electricity, assigned by the House of Representatives, announced the completion of emergency maintenance on the lighting system surrounding the shrine of Sheikh Omar al-Mukhtar in Benghazi. This initiative aligns with the anniversary of Al-Mukhtar’s martyrdom, observed on September 16 each year.
According to Libyan News Agency, the ministry revealed through an official post that maintenance teams conducted a thorough inspection of the lighting system. The tasks included replacing damaged bulbs, repairing technical faults, and ensuring that all electrical components are fully operational.
