Minister of Oil Engages with Baker Hughes on Operations in Libya

Tripoli: Minister of Oil and Gas Khalifa Abdul-Sadiq recently engaged with Baker Hughes to discuss the company’s operations in Libya’s oilfield services sector. This interaction took place during a meeting on the sidelines of the Libya-Africa International Gas Forum, which was held in Tripoli. Present at the meeting were Baker Hughes’ Executive Director for the North Africa region, the company’s Director in Libya, and the Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing plans for developing operational and technical services. The discussions also explored ways to enhance cooperation in digital transformation and production efficiency. Baker Hughes, a prominent global energy technology company, is recognized as one of the largest oilfield services companies worldwide.
