TRIPOLI: The Minister of Oil and Gas in Libya's Government of National Unity, Khalifa Abdul-Sadiq, met with Spanish Ambassador Javier Soria Quintana to discuss potential enhancements in cooperation within the energy and investment sectors. The meeting focused on the role of Spanish companies, particularly in the fields of renewable energy and infrastructure development, in Libya. According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions emphasized Repsol's significant role as a key partner in Libya's oil, gas, and energy sector. The talks also explored potential investment opportunities for Spanish companies in sectors such as renewable energy, agriculture, railways, and food projects. Minister Abdul-Sadiq highlighted the importance of organizing a business forum to strengthen economic partnerships between Libya and Spain, aiming to benefit both nations' economies.
