TRIPOLI: Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Stephanie Koury, convened with the Japanese Ambassador to Libya, Izuru Shimmura, to deliberate on the pressing political, security, and economic issues facing Libya and the ongoing efforts to rejuvenate the nation's political process. According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting underscored the importance of UNSMIL's mission in steering Libya towards stability.
