Minister of Labor and Qatari Counterpart Discuss Strengthening Cooperation

Tripoli: Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, discussed with his Qatari counterpart, Ali bin Samikh Al-Marri, on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the Arab Labor Conference, held in the Egyptian capital Cairo, ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the areas of labor and training.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting reviewed prospects for developing cooperation and exchanging expertise and experiences in a manner that contributes to supporting and developing the labor and rehabilitation sectors in both countries. The discussions were focused on enhancing mutual benefits and ensuring advancements in labor market dynamics and vocational training initiatives.

The two ministers also affirmed their commitment to continuing coordination and following up on the implementation of existing cooperation frameworks. They emphasized the importance of these efforts in strengthening cooperation in the labor market and vocational training, aiming for long-term sustainable development in these sectors.
