Abu salim: The Security Directorates Support Apparatus announced the discovery of a mass grave in the Abu Salim municipality based on information provided by a former member of the so-called Stability Support Apparatus, who had recently fled the country.
According to Libyan News Agency, this individual led police to the site by providing precise coordinates and the names of those who had been kidnapped, tortured, and killed by a man named Saif Munsef al-Kikli and his gang, formerly affiliated with the so-called Stability Support Apparatus in Abu Salim.
The Apparatus explained that upon arriving at the location, two bodies were found in the mass grave. DNA samples were taken from the bodies for analysis and testing to identify them and uncover the circumstances of this crime.
The agency confirmed that work is continuing to extract the remaining bodies in cooperation with the Criminal Investigation Department and the Public Prosecution, in order to uncover the whole truth and do justice to the victims, noting that the names of the victims have been withheld until the results and samples of the analyses are released.
