Tripoli: The Libyan Mission in Damascus organized a meeting on Wednesday between the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, and a Libyan economic delegation headed by the Chairman of the General Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Al-Raied, at the People's Palace in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was attended by the Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry, Nidal Al-Shaar, along with a number of Libyan and Syrian officials. The discussions centered on strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Libya and Syria. Both sides explored opportunities to expand partnerships between the public and private sectors to boost bilateral trade, encourage joint investments, and enhance economic cooperation in support of the shared interests of the two countries.
