Tripoli: The Ministry of Tourism is organizing a scientific dialogue focused on highlighting the importance of Libyan cultural heritage and promoting public awareness of its civilizational value. The Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industries of the Government of National Unity will hold a scientific dialogue tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Al-Mahari Radisson Blu Hotel in Tripoli, to discuss a number of issues related to heritage registration, research, and ways to protect and preserve it.

According to Libyan News Agency, the dialogue, which comes within the framework of the Ministry's interest in developing tourism and preserving tangible and intangible heritage in Libya, will address the efforts made by the Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industries in cooperation with a number of relevant bodies, which have yielded positive results, including highlighting the importance of Libyan cultural heritage and enhancing public awareness of its civilizational value.

Minister Al-Fazzani explained that this dialogue, which will be attended by experts, specialists, and academics in the fields of history, archaeology, and tourism promotion, will review the National Register of Architectural and Urban Heritage and the National Register of Tangible and Intangible Heritage. This will enable artisans, researchers, and other interested parties to register, preserve, and protect this heritage, recognizing it as a vital cultural and civilizational landmark for the country.
