Tripoli: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the government appointed by the House of Representatives has issued a warning to all Libyan citizens residing in the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. It urged them to exercise extreme caution and to comply with instructions from local authorities due to the prevailing circumstances in the country.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry released a statement advising the public to avoid traveling to and from Guinea-Bissau at this time. The advisory suggests waiting for further notice concerning the security situation. The Ministry underlined that this precautionary measure is part of its obligation to ensure the safety of Libyan citizens and to safeguard their interests abroad.
