Ankara: A Libyan military delegation headed by the Director of Military Intelligence, Major General Mahmoud Hamza, has commenced an official visit to Turkey, following an invitation from his Turkish counterpart. The visit marks an important step in bolstering military ties between the two nations.
According to Libyan News Agency, the delegation was officially received upon arrival in Ankara by the Chief of Staff of the Turkish Army, the Deputy Chief of Staff, and the Head of Military Intelligence. The presence of such high-ranking officials underscores the significance Turkey places on its military relationship with Libya.
During their visit, the Libyan delegation engaged in a session of Libyan-Turkish military talks, as reported by the official page of the General Staff of the Libyan Army.
