Tripoli: The National Security Committee of the High Council of State has officially declared its opposition to any plans aimed at resettling illegal immigrants within Libya. This decision was made known during a meeting specifically convened to address the issue.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was chaired by Abdel Fattah Hablous and included the presence of committee members. The primary focus was on the implications of illegal immigration, which have been increasingly affecting various aspects of Libya’s social and economic landscape, as well as its demographic makeup.
