Tripoli: The government appointed by the House of Representatives has expressed its support for the agreement reached by the '4+4' Joint Military Commission, seeing it as a pivotal step towards resolving the ongoing political impasse in Libya. The signing of the agreement took place at the headquarters of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) in Janzour, Tripoli, and is viewed as a major advancement towards resuming the national process.
According to Libyan News Agency, Prime Minister Osama Hammad issued a statement praising UNSMIL for its efforts in facilitating the agreement, which succeeded in bridging existing gaps. The government regards this accomplishment as a testament to the Mission's and the negotiating team's dedication.
