Libyan Army Chief Highlights Strategic Focus on Modern Education and Training

Tripoli: Libyan Army Chief of the General Staff, General Salah Al-Din Al-Namroush, emphasized the need for the Libyan Army to serve as an inclusive institution and a national safeguard. During a graduation ceremony at the Naval Studies Academy, Al-Namroush reiterated the army's foundational values and its commitment to addressing contemporary challenges.

According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Namroush described the Libyan military institution as one built on the sacrifices of its founding fathers. He highlighted the importance of maintaining readiness through investment in human capabilities and military expertise. The strategy moving forward will prioritize modern education and advanced training as essential components for an effective military force.

Al-Namroush assured that the military institution, with support from the Government of National Unity and the Ministry of Defense, aims to achieve the highest international standards by leveraging advanced military expertise. Future training initiatives will involve collaborations with leading international institutions to prepare military personnel to understand and tackle contemporary challenges.

He also emphasized the ongoing efforts to establish a disciplined and professional army, free from political bias and attuned to citizens' concerns.
