Libya deposits about a billion dollars with the Central Bank of Egypt.

The Central Bank of Egypt announced that Egypt had obtained a deposit of $700 million from Libya by the end of 2022.

The Bank said in a report yesterday that Libya’s total deposits with it amounted to $900 million in September last year.

The bank stated that short-term deposits from Arab countries recorded more than $14 billion, compared to $13 billion at the end of last September, while long-term deposits from Arab countries stabilized at $15 billion.
