Tripoli: Discussions focused on strengthening defense cooperation between Libya and Pakistan, and preparations for an upcoming official visit. The Director of the Office of the Minister of Defense of the Government of National Unity received the Military Attach© of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Libya at the Ministry headquarters on Tuesday morning.
According to Libyan News Agency, after exchanging greetings and congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the two sides discussed several ideas related to exploring opportunities for joint cooperation between the two countries in the defense field, with the aim of strengthening coordination and exchanging expertise.
The meeting also addressed arrangements for an upcoming official visit by a delegation from the Libyan Ministry of Defense and the General Staff to their counterparts in Pakistan, within the framework of supporting bilateral relations and developing areas of military cooperation between the two friendly countries.
