Libya and Hungary Discuss Developing Bilateral Relations

Tripoli: Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Baour, met with the Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Hungary, Marcel B­r³, to discuss ways to develop bilateral relations in the political, economic, and trade fields, in addition to reviewing regional and international developments of mutual interest.

According to Libyan News Agency, the two sides explored prospects for cooperation in diplomatic training, facilitating visa procedures, and strengthening partnerships in the energy and reconstruction sectors. Marcel B­r³ expressed Hungary’s appreciation for its strong relations with Libya and affirmed readiness to support Libyan efforts aimed at achieving stability and development. He also indicated Hungary’s aspiration to expand cooperation to serve the interests of both nations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing joint coordination and intensifying mutual visits to develop bilateral cooperation and propel it towards broader horizons.
