Libya and Chad Formalize Agreement on Worker Movement.


Tripoli: Libya and Chad signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday to organize the movement of workers. The memorandum was signed by Libyan Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, and Chadian Minister of Public Service and Social Dialogue, Abdallah Mbabi, who is currently visiting Tripoli.

According to Libyan News Agency, the MoU aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in several areas, including the organization and movement of labor, as well as the protection of the rights of workers and employers. The signing event was attended by various department directors from the Ministry of Labor and members of the delegation accompanying the Chadian Minister.
