Tripoli, The reaction of the people of Algeria to the remarks by the Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Al Mangoush at the ‘Libya’s Neighboring Countries Meeting’, in which she highlighted the existing relationship between Libya and Algeria, has reflected the affection which they had for the Libyan people, Lana’s Arab Affairs Editor wrote.
In message broadcast by the Algerian TV, Algerians have expressed their love of the Libyan people, and their commitment to Libya’s security and stability, and said they were convinced that the Omar Mukhtar’s Libya would rise again by the hands of the grandchildren of Omar Al Mukhtar, the Editor said.
In a letter to the TV channel, an Algerian man said ‘Libyans are good and decent people and I wish them all good …and I wish Libya will rise again like what its people wanted …thank noble Minister… Algeria has the solution.’
Younis, another Algerian said ‘Libya and Algeria a historical friendship. Victory is near.’
Mohamed Bin Isa said the future would be good, God Willing, for the peoples of Libya and Algeria, while Al Haji, also an Algerian said ‘good remarks from good people all the best for Libya …Long Live Algeria.
The Editor saluted the good feelings which he said reflected originality and gallantry, and faithfulness of the people of Algeria, saying the Libyan and Algerian peoples are linked with deep-rooted blood and good neighborliness relations that rarely existed between two other peoples.
The Editor concluded by saying ‘the attitude of the people and the government of Algeria in support of Libya’s stability, sovereignty and security reinforces the special and un-changeable relationship between the two peoples who are closely linked by joint struggle against the colonial powers namely the Italian and French colonialism.
