Manama: The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, in collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), announced the adoption of the National Notifications System for judicial announcements, effective January 2025. This initiative aims to enhance service efficiency and support environmental sustainability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry stated that this step completes the digital transformation of all court notifications by utilising the unified database provided by the platform. The adoption of the National Notifications System will streamline litigation procedures, ensuring judicial announcements are delivered to individuals through reliable and up-to-date contact details.
The ministry urged lawyers and litigants to register with the national notifications system via the Kingdom’s national portal, bahrain.bh, and update their contact information if changes occur. Contact details registered on the platform will serve as the official basis for judicial notif
ications.
The ministry reiterated its commitment to implementing digital transformation initiatives and reducing paper transactions, contributing to service efficiency and accessibility while supporting national environmental sustainability efforts. The National Notifications System, accessible via bahrain.bh, provides citizens, residents, and GCC nationals with a unified platform for receiving official notifications regarding government transactions through SMS and email, replacing traditional paper correspondence.
