Tripoli– A joint coordination meeting was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Tripoli yesterday between the Department of International Organizations and the United Nations team in the field of sustainable development.
On the Libyan side, it included the team concerned with studying the United Nations strategy concerned with cooperation with Libya in the areas of sustainable development 2023-2025, represented by the Department of International Organizations, and on the part of the United Nations, Ms. Naun Choi, the economic expert and responsible for the sustainable development file in the Office of the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations Development Program in Libya .
The sources of the ministry stated that the first meeting dealt with reviewing the draft submitted by the office, which includes the framework plan so that it is in harmony with the national Libyan legislation and serves the Libyan state in multiple areas, the most important of which are peace, governance, economic recovery, community development and others, in partnership with the concerned national sectors, which 22 sectors.
