Iraq and Algeria Discuss Judicial Cooperation and Exchange of Convicts.

Cairo: Iraq's Minister of Justice, Khaled Shawani, engaged in discussions with his Algerian counterpart, Lotfi Boujemaa, focusing on forming cooperation and joint coordination agreements within the judicial and legal domains. These discussions took place on the sidelines of the 40th session of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers in Cairo, aimed at serving the interests of both nations. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the two ministers explored the possibility of activating existing agreements, with particular emphasis on the exchange of convicts. They also deliberated on exchanging experiences to align with advancements in judicial work, thereby contributing to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Iraq and Algeria.
