Tehran: Iranian Revolutionary Guards Commander Major General Hussein Salami accused the entity of stirring up chaos in Syria. Tasnim News Agency quoted Salami as saying: “The defeated in Gaza and Lebanon are today leading the attacks in Syria,” referring to the entity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Salami elaborated that “after the ‘strategic defeats’ suffered by Israel on the Gaza and Lebanon fronts, the Takfiri terrorist groups, under the leadership and guidance of those defeated on the battlefields in Gaza and southern Lebanon, launched new brutal attacks on Syria in the past few days.”

Salami highlighted that “these attacks were met with responses from the army and popular forces in this country.” He further explained that “these crimes claimed the life of the brave and courageous commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Kiomars (Hashem) Pourhashemi (known as Hajj Hashem),” indicating that “Haj Hashem is the chief Iranian military advisor in Syria.”

The Syrian army announced earlier today that
“the armed terrorist organizations, under the so-called Al-Nusra Front, supported by thousands of foreign terrorists, heavy weapons and drones, launched a large-scale attack from multiple axes on the Aleppo and Idlib fronts.”
