Interior Minister Meets with US Officials to Discuss Security Cooperation

Tripoli: GNU Minister of Interior Major General Emad Al-Tarabulsi received U.S. Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs Massad Boulos, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Kyle Liston, and the Charg© d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Libya and the U.S., particularly in the area of security.

According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions aimed at supporting security and stability and strengthening coordination between the two sides. The officials addressed a number of issues of common interest, seeking to bolster ties and promote mutual efforts in maintaining regional peace.
