The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Service in the Ministry of Interior arrested today, Tuesday, one of the suspects, in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, who is wanted in the case of the assassination of an officer with the rank of captain affiliated with the Maysan Governorate Police Directorate.
It explained in a statement, “The arrest process took place after the formation of a specialized team of heroes from the Intelligence Service in Karbala Governorate, and the suspect was seized with a forged identity with a false name to hide from the sight of the security services.”
The statement added, “He was placed in detention to take the necessary legal measures against him.”
