House of Representatives Session Postponed for Member Arrival

Benghazi: The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, along with the members present, postponed the scheduled House session until tomorrow, Tuesday. The decision was made to wait for the arrival of additional members from the Western Region, ensuring broader participation in the discussions.

According to Libyan News Agency, the postponement was announced in a press statement by Abdullah Blihaq, the official spokesperson for the House of Representatives. The speaker had previously extended an invitation to all members for an official session in Benghazi on Monday. The agenda for the session included the discussion of the draft state budget law for 2025, alongside several other items pertinent to the House’s agenda.
